Engines & Gearbox

The gearbox of the excavator OF HYOSUNG GROUP(HSG) is composed of a hydraulic torque converter, a planetary gear and a hydraulic control system. The transmission of hydraulic power and the combination of gears are used to achieve variable speed and torque. The function is:
1. Change the transmission ratio;
2. Under the condition that the rotation direction of the engine remains unchanged, the car can run backwards;
3. Use neutral gear to interrupt power transmission so that the engine can be started and idle, and it is convenient for the transmission to shift gears or perform power output.

 

HYOSUNG Planetary Powershift Transmission
Three speeds forward and three speeds reverse, utilizing large diameter, high-capacity, oil-cooled clutches.
• Modulation system permits smooth speed and direction changes.
• Modular transmission and bevel gear slide into rear case for easy servicing, even with ripper installed.
• Oil-to-water cooler for maximum cooling capacity.
• Forced oil fl ow lubricates and cools clutch packs to provide maximum clutch life.
• Controlled throttle shifting regulates engine speed during directional shift

 

 HYOSUNG Steering Clutch and Brake
Fade resistant and adjustment free. The multi-disc, oil cooled steering clutches are hydraulically applied and electronically controlled.
The brakes are applied by springs and hydraulically released for safe and reliable braking performance. Steering clutches, brakes
and final drives can be removed as a unit from each side of the tractor
